Continuum is a ‘not for profit’ organization to facilitate and/or carry out urban, regional and environmental - policy, financing, planning, development and administration activities; business continuity planning and emgergency lifecycle management, directly or indirectly, in harmony with local human capital, natural resources, appropriate technologies, participatory approaches and best practices towards building and protecting sustainable, environment friendly and self reliant human settlements and healthy communities on the foundation of strong socio-economic infrastructure.

Continuum is designed to facilitate exchanges amongst the development stakeholders, service providers and beneficiaries alike - while playing a role of ‘brain trust’ particularly comprising of distinguished subject matter experts, established organizations, institutions, financers, high networth individuals, international development agencies, non-governmental organizations, decision makers and individuals committed to work for the cause and care of the disadvantaged human settlements and communities due to poor, improper or conventional urban, regional and environemental policy, planning, development and administration activities.

GOALS

Continuum, with 'not for profit' goals, facilitates exchange of services and channelizes financial support for newly initiated, identified and/or ongoing development projects across various geographic boundaries through unique frameworks, methodologies, participatory approaches, business models and shared vision contributed by the participants over the platform.

Continuum propagates, advocates and promotes a variety of development support mechanisms including venture/private equity investments, partnerships, collaborations and joint ventures to work directly or indirectly with the development beneficiaries and/or stakeholders including government and non-governmental organizations in the value chain. 

KEY ACTIVITIES

Continuum extends micro and macro finance, technical expertise, policy frameworks, strategies, micro and macro development plans, master plans, methodologies, participatory approaches, best practice guides, technology aids,  education and professional training, and facilitates establishment of centers of excellence and/or institutions for integration and dissemination of knowledge and wisdom where the benefits are open to all qualified people irrespective of caste, creed, religion, race, or nationality; communities, organizations, institutions, governmental organizations, urban local bodies, municipal corporations, municipalities, rural establishments, non-governmental organizations, self-help groups, charitable trusts/societies, international aid agencies, international development organizations, government sponsored national and international institutions, educational institutions, consultants, economists, sociologists, engineers and all stakeholders involved in urban, regional and environmental development value chain.

Central to the Continuum’s key objective is a commitment to regional and national development rendering protection of regional culture, heritage and environment while striking balance with continuous economic growth and globalization.
